2nd May That's that then
Well lambing is finished already! Seems rather tame after my previous lambings which were all contract lambings with thousands of ewes in a few weeks!
Still lots of work to be done of course. Lambs will need to be vaccinated soon and be wormed. They will have to be treated with flystrike preventative, then it will be shearing time, then the ewes need treated with fly strike preventative, and wormed.... and so it goes on! At least the grass is now coming through well and I don't have to be hauling hay and feed all day every day!
Here is a little video of Neela's pups which are coming on well. They are all very friendly as expected and into everything now!
Now things have quietened down I've been able to get Cloud out training, and Norma and Beth are joining in our training sessions too. Beth is quite well on in her training now and is a very nice bitch indeed. She will probably be mated to Ghost in the near future.
2nd May Cute as cute can be!
Neela's pups on the rampage! They are just starting to show their characters now and they are lovely friendly and inquisative pups. Lilac merle dog is very like Ghost Hes a really laid back character that loves being fussed over. Little blue bitch is just like Neela and is very clever, Slate merle bitch has plenty of attitude and get up and go. Blue dog is a real clown, he's always playing with his siblings and the toys.
23rd May Going on holiday is hard work!
The last few weeks have been spent doing 16 hr days to get everything ready for my holiday cover person as I am going on a 2 week trialing holiday, hooray! By for now!
