Midge to her friends
Midge is a Berger des Pyrénées, or Pyrenean Sheep Dog, like Remy. Currently she is residing with my good friend Nathalie who has Fame (C. Spot x Mist) in Germany waiting to enter the UK with her pet passport. Hopefully she will be able to come over in March 2009. Midge was bred in the South of France. Her registered name means Golden from the blue space between the clouds. When she is older she will be trained as a sheep dog. Both of her parents work sheep. She is called Midge because she is a midget!
Her parents live on 75 hectares in the Ardeche and look after 140 sheep on the mountain.
Midge loves a twig. But she doesn't mind sharing with new friends!

This is her mother. She has a hip score of AA. Rouette has passed the official French apptitude test for sheep dogs, the "CANT". The judge told her owner he hadn't seen such a good dog for a long time.
